I commend you on the great work that you are doing to promote nursing. In order to meet our shortfall of nurses, which is expected to worsen over the next few years, it is essential that we begin to look to our youth for recruitment into the nursing field, and begin educating people about what nursing is and the varied roles of nursing professionals.
We are currently embarking on an increased awareness of nursing and the need for more nurses, particularly Indigenous nurses. As well, we are beginning to branch out and develop working relationships with similar organizations internationally.
